Loss adjuster Crawford’s WeGoLook debuts new real-time self-service claims app

WeGoLook, the US-based on demand claims handler majority-owned by loss adjuster Crawford, has introduced a new self-service claims app called YouGoLook.

WeGoLook currently works by sending out staff to collect and verify real-time photos, video and data.

YouGoLook builds on this model and enables claimants to take photographs of any damage themselves when submitting simple auto or property claims.

Where claims emerge as more complex, or a user is unable to complete their claim, WeGoLook will send one of its 30,000 independent contractors to assess the situation.

“The success of a self-service application depends on the user’s ability and willingness to complete the tasks assigned,” explained WeGoLook chief executive Robin Smith, who spoke about revolutionising the claims process at Insurance Times’ Innovation & Disruption 2017 conference. “Through our assisted self-service approach, we don’t leave anything to chance.”

“We deploy resources to see each assigned Look through to completion and take all of that work off of our customers’ desks. This ensures success and creates an unmatched customer experience. It also ensures that our customers receive consistent, quality data every time – and it’s only possible with YouGoLook.”
