Legal expenses insurer adds head of compliance and risk management.
DAS Legal Expenses Insurance has named Paul Timmins as head of compliance and risk management.
Timmins, who previously held a position with Legal & General as compliance director, is tasked with the strategic development and enhancement of best practice.
Paul Asplin, chief executive officer at DAS, said: “Paul’s appointment reinforces our continued growth and development. We recognise the scope and importance that compliance and risk management has in the future success of our business, and Paul brings with him extensive experience in these fields.”
Bristol-based DAS has around 500 staff. It also has offices in London, Manchester and Bedwas, South Wales, as well as subsidiaries in Dublin and Colchester.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
