eClaims to allow tracking of claim throughout process.

DAS Legal Expenses has launched a new online claims tracking service.

eClaims from DAS will allow both brokers and their customers to view their claim online at any stage during the process.

Victoria Scott, head of claims and assistance at DAS, said: “eClaims is an easy and secure way of allowing brokers and their clients to gain information on their claim at any time.

“Using a unique, secure login, any live claim under the broker's own agency can be viewed. Ultimately all claimants will also be able to view their own claim online.”

In a statement DAS said that eClaims was being rolled out in a series of stages. The first stage is complete and access has been enabled for all DAS brokers and claimants notifying new claims under various DAS policies.

The second stage is currently being implemented and grants access for all new claims and the third stage will allow details about all open claims to be viewed and move the current DAS online new claims notification system under eClaims.
