Enhanced offering in its after-the-event trading arm, 80e

DAS has enhanced its product range with the addition of new Personal and Business Litigation policies in its after-the-event trading division, 80e.

The new products extend the reach of the current 80e portfolio beyond personal injury, into areas that include tenancy disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence, and contract disputes on goods and services for both personal and business clients.

Phil Bellamy, 80e operations manager, said: "The market for ATE insurance is continuing to develop and we have recognised the need to expand into, and service, areas where people are still finding themselves without cover for their legal costs.

"This development gives all of our agents the ability to offer a comprehensive range of market leading, cost effective products to their customers."

Under the new scheme all cases will be individually assessed following the completion of a proposal form.

George Bladon, 80e sales manager, said: "As part of this development, we will be providing the necessary training and literature to all agents who wish to offer these products to their personal and business clients."
