Suzanne Kearney joins from rival loss adjuster ASL

Davies Group has hired Suzanne Kearney  as head of newly combined liability and construction & engineering business.

As a senior member of Davies’ management team, Kearney will report to Darren Coombes, the company’s  markets director.

Kearney joins from specialist loss adjuster ASL, where she was a board director. Before that Kearney worked for Crawford & Co for 16 years, most recently as a board director of their liability business, SLS.

“Liability and construction & engineering are key areas of service delivery for Davies and we have been active in these markets for a long time,” said Davies chief executive Charles Crawford in a statement.” We felt the timing was right for us to bring somebody into the Group to who will help us take our already successful offering to the next level.”

Kearney added: “I am delighted to be joining at this exciting time of their development. I am relishing the challenges ahead for a division that has such potential for growth.”

Kearney’s appointment closely follows the refinancing of Davies by Electra Partners.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
