Changes will enable Davies to invest more in professionalism, customer service, innovation and its specialist services

Davies Group has unveiled its new brand as it makes changes to its operational structure, following the acquisition of Garwyn last year.

The claims handler says the changes will enable it to invest more in professionalism, customer service, innovation and its specialist services.

The Davies rebrand will include a “reimagining claims” tagline and a new website.

The move has also been prompted by the findings of research that Davies undertook in the summer with staff and clients including; insurers, brokers, MGAs and corporates.

It found that changes to be market where being driven by innovation and regulatory reform, the challenge of rising costs and the growing claims culture.

Chief executive Dan Saulter said: “We have listened to our staff and clients and it is clear that we need to embrace change in order to win in the rapidly developing claims landscape.”

Under changes to the group operational structure, Davies managed systems will be its claims outsourcing business, while Davies property claims will incorporate the group’s property inspection adjusting and investigation operations.

Davies specialty claims will incorporate Garwyn disease and injury, public sector, construction & engineering, while Davies property solutions will be its building services, disaster restoration, surveying and subsidence businesses.
