Medical profession urged to accept their role in whiplash fraud after doctor is probed for fraud
A doctor accused of whiplash fraud has sparked criticism of the profession.
The General Medical Council is understood to be investigating Dr Muhammad Raheel Shaikh over allegations he made a false claim.
Dr Shaikh is accused of charging £250 for an 18-minute consultation on which he agreed to help with a claim despite the fact they were suffering no injury.
Bradford East MP David Ward told the Yorkshire Times that if the case was proven, it showed doctors were part of the problem.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
