Harwell Drying & Restoration Services will be operating 24 hours a day over the Christmas and New Year period, after doubling the number of staff on call.

The firm says it is prepared for a heavy workload after having to implement a special disaster response service to cope with the flood damage in October and November.

“Given the extreme weather conditions at the moment, and the prospect of further major flooding, we have doubled the number of staff we would usually have on call over a holiday period,” said administration manager Emma McKenzie.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
