Insurer creates casualty centre of excellence in Manchester.
Ecclesiastical has appointed Chris Lynwood as technical casualty manager.
He joins the insurer from Capita where he held the same role and will be based at Ecclesiastical’s Manchester regional underwriting centre.
At the same time Ecclesiastical is also strengthening its casualty claims capability by creating a casualty centre of excellence in Manchester. All non-liability claims staff will continue to work from Ecclesiastical's head office in Gloucester.
David Bonehill, claims manager, said: “Liability risks are an increasingly important part of Ecclesiastical’s business, so it makes sense to strengthen the claims function.
"Manchester is an established insurance centre where we feel we can recruit the right technical experts.”
