R&SA signs IT deal

Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) signed a 10-year IT out-sourcing deal worth £92m, with T-Systems. R&SA will outsource its IT and printing operations with 63 employees being transferred to the service provider.

Markel GWP falls 8%

Markel International reported an 8% fall in gross written premiums to $162m for the third quarter of 2007 from $176m in the same period of 2006.

Hallam buys First Light

James Hallam acquired First Light Insurance Brokers, based in London’s Docklands.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
