Enterprise solutions provider FINEOS has released a set of web-enabled broker and agent portals designed for insurance companies.
The solutions allow brokers access to insurance databases.
This enables them to manage new business pipelines, gain access to information on existing accounts, update customer information deliver quotations and complete questionnaires.
The portals will also allow insurers to submit policy applications, alterations and claims.
FINEOS claims the portals will help to cut administration costs by reducing call centre traffic and creating a paperless office.
FINEOS chief executive Michael Kelly said: "The improved level of service delivered by these portals will greatly strengthen the relationships between financial organisations and their intermediaries."
