Barefoot fire-walker John Shango was forced to attempt a world record fire-walk this week without insurance.
Nobody would cover him personally because the risk was too great.
But brokers C J Coleman did secure public liability cover for the event from underwriters S L Worldwide.
Shango sadly failed in his bid to walk 65ft across hot coals – jumping out of the pit after 45ft.
