First Assist wins Halifax travel extension

First Assist Insurance Services has secured its travel insurance partnership with Halifax for another three years.

Following a tender process, First Assist won an extension to its long-term relationship with the Lloyds Banking Group arm.

The contract covers the travel insurance provided under the Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Account and the HBOS direct retail scheme.

First Assist Group managing director Martin Totty said: "The renewal of the Halifax travel contract is fantastic news for First Assist Insurance Services and is a testament to the quality of the service and proposition we are delivering for Halifax customers.
