OAMPS Insurance Brokers has become the first broker in Australia to be accredited by Lloyd's.
Lloyd's said it awarded the accreditation as part of its initiative to widen its global network of brokers.
Accreditation is awarded to brokers who demonstrate their suitability by meeting a number of criteria covering financial arrangements, customer service levels and regulation.
A Lloyd's spokesman said: "We are delighted to accredit our first Australian broker. OAMPS has an excellent reputation for good business and we welcome their addition to the Lloyd's market."
