AXA Université has named the first 25 brokers to graduate from its CII-accredited management training programme.

The five-day course has been running since 2001.

It is aimed at newly-appointed directors or managers, as well as established directors who may have not received any management training, AXA said.

Course members receive training at the AXA Université in Suiduiraut, Bordeaux.

The programme covers a range of topics including management style assessment, keeping staff informed, promoting communication and managing change.

Colin Calder, head of broker development at AXA, said: "So far around 70% of our premier partners have attended a session.

"We have received very positive feedback from delegates."
