Clive Nathan, chief executive, Towergate Underwriting

Family roots...

My great grandparents arrived in Britain from Eastern Europe and Holland and settled in London’s East End just a stones throw from where I now work.

Earning his Spurs...

My first match at White Hart Lane was in 1972 when I sat in the old Press box with my dad and saw the Lilywhites beat Sheffield United 2 – 0 (Gilzean and Chivers).

Showbiz connections...

My wife’s career was as a TV presenters agent and she represented such TV greats as Richard and Judy, Alan Titchmarsh and Dale Winton

Lights, camera, action...

My kids are both members of the Chickenshed theatre company. Chickenshed is a fantastic, genuinely inclusive organization and seeing the shows brings real perspective when you think you have got problems.

Cycle path...

I have cycled around the Sea of Galilee in Israel. I did it three times in 24 hours to raise money for victims of terrorism.

Clive Nathan is chief executive of underwriting at Towergate.
