The Swedish parent company of Folksam UK is going into liquidation.
Folksam UK has been in run-off since 1997.
Its parent, Återförsäkrings AB LUAP, applied for liquidation to the Court of Stockholm, it announced yesterday.
The move came after a deal fell through to sell Folksam International Insurance Company, through which the UK business of Folksam UK was conducted.
