Fortis set to steal Tesco affinity deal from RBSI
Fortis Insurance is about to provide motor and household products for Tesco's financial services arm, the Telegraph reports
It said Fortis is in advanced talks with Britain's largest retailer and Tesco has admitted it was reviewing some of its long-standing general insurance arrangements - with Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance.
Market sources estimate Tesco takes in about £600m worth of insurance premiums each year. The deal could create 1,000 jobs with Fortis in the UK.
