New loss adjusting company the Claims People Group has opened for business with a pledge to shake up the claims management business.
The company's chief executive, Barry Whyte (above), said it intended to bring a fresh approach to the transaction of business with insurers and intermediaries.
The company plans to use ebusiness methods to reduce costs and speed up claims servicing with an emphasis on claims leakage.
Whyte said: “We have the unique advantage of being a greenfield site operation, together with in-depth experience of the claims management market. This has allowed us to be radical in our approach and means that we have the ability to deliver competitive fees better than most.”
The Claims People Group will operate in three key areas; claims management including loss adjusting, consultancy and a web portal, www.theclaimspeople.com.
