Rob Page, one of the founders of Fusion Underwriting – one of the first commercial e-commerce insurers at Lloyd's – has resigned as group marketing director of SVB Group.

Fusion was set up in December 2000, to transact e-commerce specialty product insurance with regional brokers.

A statement released by SVB said Page had decided to step down because he had handed over to a new team.

The statement said: “Now that this is complete, it has been agreed that it is an appropriate time for Rob to pursue his other interests.”

It added: “The SVB Group is very appreciative of all that Rob has done and wishes him well for the future.”
