GAB Robins claims management services division is to provide a "streamlined" service for fleet claims, after signing a deal with fleet specialist FMG Support.

Robins Claims Solutions (RCS) will provide claims handling services for third party elements of fleet claims.

RCS international account director Margaret Clubley said the streamlined service would provide savings of between 25% and 30% in the total spend on a claim.

Cost savings would be made by reducing the time taken to capture third part details, and repair damaged vehicles.

Clubley said RCS was looking to get contracts with insurers , and said the company would be switching over existing clients to the new service.

"We hope to have an extra 30,000 claims going through the system by the end of the year."
