Thirty jobs affected

Exit, sign, leave, quit, resign

Gallagher Heath has confirmed that it will close its Norwich office on January 21, affecting around 30 staff.

The business will move to Bournemouth, where Gallagher wants to start a charity book as well. The office will be headed up by current Gallagher Heath Norwich office boss and executive director affinity services Diane Caplehorn.

A Gallagher spokesman said that all staff had been offered other jobs within the group.

The spokesman said: “We believe the clients will be better served out of Bournemouth.

“The Norwich office came with a Heath Lambert purchase, Bournemouth is a new office, so we are investing in Bournemouth.”

In April Gallagher closed the retail arm of its Norwich office, leading to five redundancies.
