New group MD and retail bosses installed

Giles retail managing director Howard Pearson is to leave the consolidator as part of a restructure of its executive management team, Insurance Times can reveal.

Group operations director Sarah Lyons is being promoted to group managing director and Pearson's role has been split between Steve Smith and Simon Brooke for the North and South respectively.

Giles chief executive Chris Giles said: “By promoting Sarah Lyons, one of our most talented executives, and splitting the responsibilities of the Retail MDs, the group is now positioned to assimilate and benefit from the considerable change that I expect to see in Giles over the coming months and years.”
