Glacier Reinsurance has secured licences to conduct business in two South American countries.
The reinsurer is planning to write property, aviation, marine, energy and war & terrorism business in Ecuador and Columbia.
Robbie Klaus, chief executive and chief underwriting officer of Glacier Re, commented: “We are extremely pleased that the relevant authorities have granted Glacier Re these licences. This will enable us to further diversify our global portfolio and extend our customer base in Latin America.”
