Former Aon chairman has new real estate role

Jardine Lloyd Thompson has appointed former Aon chairman Bill Gloyn to its real estate team.

Gloyn, partner, JLT, said: "I'm delighted to join JLT; I've respected their approach as an insurance consultant and broker for many years. I see this as a great opportunity to support the team in delivering market leading service and expertise for our clients."

Gloyn was formerly chairman, real estate europe within Aon Mergers & Acquisitions Group, having set up Aon Limited's Commercial Property Group in 1983. He is president of the City Property Association, chairman of the British Property Federation insurance committee and a member of the Society of Construction Law.
