Shares in Goshawk Insurance were suspended as of 7.30am this morning.

The insurer applied to the UK Listing Authority for the suspension until it is able to release its preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2005.

Goshawk said the delay, as set out in its announcement on 10 April, was due to delays in the preparation and audit of the financial statements.

The company said it expects to release the results by 18 May.

Shares closed on 28 April at 5.49p.
