Andrew Pagett joins Groupama from Fortis
Groupama Insurances have appointed Andrew Pagett as counter fraud manager.
Pagett joins from Fortis, and will be responsible for developing the capabilities of the counter fraud team, enhancing existing counter fraud procedures, implementing new processes and maximizing the use of technology to identify fraudsters and potentially fraudulent claims.
He heads up a team of 15 counter fraud specialists.
Pagett will work with Groupama’s brokers and intermediaries to support their counter fraud activities, and will also represent Groupama at an industry level, supporting and contributing to various industry initiatives, groups and activities such as IFCAG and the IFB.
Phil Bird, director of claims at Groupama Insurances, said: “We know Andy will continue to develop the excellent results already being achieved by our counter fraud team.”
