Package to cover

Heath Lambert has launched a product to cover business interruption risks for veterinary practices cut off by snow or flooding.

The comprehensive surgery package is designed to cover business interruption risks which may affect a vet’s day-to-day work. These include:

  • Equipment and maintenance cover, both on and offsite,
  • Locum and practice absence cover,
  • Assaults on staff by either customers or thieves,
  • Drugs stored in fridges.

Heath Lambert Insurance Services scheme director Richard Senior said: “Our product gives peace of mind to vets, as well as their clients, that they can function normally through any crisis with added security and protection. We understand that when any animal is sick, it is no joking matter if they can’t get help due to either bad weather or theft.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
