Heath Lambert Group has received the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade, in recognition of its success in increasing overseas earnings.
The company has doubled its overseas earnings in the last three years to more than £130m, and it has strengthened its positions in the USA, Australia, South America and Europe.
Chief executive David Margrett said: "This award is an achievement for all of Heath Lambert's staff who, through their hard work and professionalism, are responsible for the significant growth we have achieved overseas over the last three years."
This is the group's second Queen's Award. It received the award for Export Achievement in 1993.
