Helphire Group has announced the acquisition of e-register, a jewellery registration business, financed by placing shares to raise £2m.
It also said today it has created a new trading division. The InsureAssist division will provide services to facilitate claim settlements, in collaboration with general insurers.
The group reported strong growth in the final quarter of last year, saying it now handles more than 2,000 cases a month.
It aims to repay its term loan of £40m this month and predicts it will be 'cash generative' by the autumn.
