Insurex Expo-Sure, part of Hiscox, has launched a new insurance product in time for Bonfire Night and New Year's Eve celebrations.
The Firework Event product includes property damage and public liability cover. It is designed for fireworks events with up to 1000 attendees.
John Heaney, UK commercial underwriting manager for Hiscox, said: “Liability cover in particular is something often forgotten by organisers of smaller fireworks events or dismissed as too expensive. It is important to have the right cover in place should the worst happen but also to take the necessary precautions for a safe and successful event”.
The cover is divided into three categories according to event size and liability limit.
