A mock trial for insurance company staff involved in personal injury and other claims was held recently at the Old Court at Leeds Town Hall.
The event was staged by solicitors from law firm Nelson & Co in Leeds and barristers from Ropewalk Chambers in Nottingham.
Simon Bass, head of insurance litigation at Nelson & Co, who planned the event, said: "The mock trial was very well received by the insurance claim handlers who attended.
"It was the first time that many of them had witnessed the claims procedure played out in court, and gave them a new diminsion to the work that they undertake on a daily basis."
