HSBC Insurance Brokers has appointed Adrian Jenner, former director of Howden Insurance Brokers, to oversee the growth of its international interests.

Jenner has been named as the managing director of HSBC's directors' and officers' (D&O) division. He has specialised in D&O since 1989.

Mike Dixon, chief executive, HSBC Insurance Brokers, said: “As corporate governance continues to head the list of company concerns, issues of D&O risk management and experience in creating the right solutions to mitigate risk will be priorities for company boards. Adrian Jenner's stewardship in this area will take our D&O expertise to the next level.”

Kevin Culliney, Howden's executive director, said the company did not have any immediate plans to replace Jenner as its operations were of a sufficient size to continue with business as usual.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
