Former AXA boss appointed non-exec director at Maxxim

Former AXA chief executive Peter Hubbard has become a non-executive director at management consultancy firm Maxxim.

Earlier this year, Hubbard joined insurance law firm Keoghs as a non-executive director and was appointed to the same role at UK General in September. He is also a CII board member.

Hubbard said: “Maxxim has a great track record of working for FTSE100 companies, and financial services providers such as Threadneedle, and there’s no reason why Maxxim can’t replicate this achievement in the insurance industry.

“The insurance industry is ripe for a dose of their medicine and I’m looking forward to helping make it a success.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
