Stephen Dalton joins from claims management service VFM

Stephen Dalton has joined the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) as an Intelligence Handler and will be working on the IFB's intelligence collation and dissemination strategy.

Dalton brings with him 16 years experience of fraud management, including the development and implementation of conversation management techniques for fraud prevention purposes.

As-co-founder and ex-director of claims management service VFM, Dalton designed and delivered claims specific fraud prevention initiatives to a range of blue chip financial services organisations and international loss adjusters.

Glen Marr, IFB director said: “Stephen will work closely with IFB customers, law enforcement and regulators in the handling and dissemination of intelligence. His first task will be a comprehensive review of the current IFB intelligence model, followed by the design and implementation of its replacement.”

“Additionally and recognising Stephen's wider skills, he will be engaged with developing and delivering training programs for our customers and involved in other activities to develop the IFB model. We are planning to deliver a training program for all our customers in the first half of 2011."
