BASDA warns of euro problem
The Business and Accountancy Software Developers' Association (BASDA) has warned UK firms dealing in the euro of a potential problem as most accountancy applications cannot meet regulations on VAT returns. "It is becoming more of an issue as the euro becomes more accepted," said BASDA's Wendy Haylock. The Treasury says 100,000 small to medium-sized UK firms use the euro.

Concorde gets on the web
IT supplier Concorde Informatics has launched www.concordeinf.com, a new web site that provides details of the firm's products and services. Concorde supplies solutions to the accident repair, public safety and enterprise sectors.

Fusion appoints eNterprise
Fusion, the company formed by the Lloyd's managing agency, SVB, to sell and service insurance through brokers, has appointed eNterprise to develop its e-commerce systems. eNterprise will manage the development and delivery to support the electronic quotation, acceptance and claims processes.
