AA offers new trade on Polaris
The AA is offering new business quotations for all of its 15 home insurers on Polaris following the conversion of all the intermediary's panel of insurers to Polaris in the summer. Martin McLachlan, managing director of Polaris, said: "The Polaris technology has now proved its strengths in the largest and most demanding telesales environment. The AA has shown that electronic trading yields real benefits in terms of attracting customers, cost savings and speed to market."

Optionclaim on to the web
Legal expenses insurer Optionclaim has launched a web site to provide details of the company and its products and services. The site also has a facility for brokers to report claims by e-mail. The site address is: www.optionclaim.com.

Watson Wyatt's personal lines
Consulting firm Watson Wyatt has launched a personal lines rating system. The company claims the new package, Watson Wyatt Pretium, will make analysing and refining personal lines rating structures easier. The system can run in English, French, German, Spanish and Portugese.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
