Insurers have a long history of sports sponsorship – but few have gone to the lengths of Dutch insurer Nationale-Nederlanden in its quest to celebrate a European footballing spectacle.

The Netherlands is co-hosting the European Championships with Belgium this month, with England being Britain's representatives for the event held every four years.

Just for the occasion, Nationale-Nederlanden has transformed its Rotterdam offices into the world's biggest billboard.

The building features Dutch international football superstar Edgar Davids, who plays for Juventus in Italy's Serie A, crashing through the glass building chasing after a football.

The stunning 150 metre high visual was created by sportswear manufacturer Nike.

It is as big as the Statue of Liberty in the United States and can be seen for miles.
