Integro has hired GC Fac's MD and head of worldwide casualty, Charles Waddington...

Integro has nabbed yet another senior executive from GC Fac, Guy Carpenter's facultative division, with the announcement that Charles Waddington has joined its recently formed insurance and reinsurance business unit based in London. He will be responsible for managing the Casualty Practice for the new unit.

Along with Julian Samengo-Turner, Ron Whyte and Marcus Hopkins, who also left GC Fac in the last month, he will join Integro's London-based reinsurance operations this fall (after a period of gardening leave).

For the past five years Waddington was managing director and head of GC Fac's worldwide casualty division.

His 26-year broking career started at Sedgwick, where he held a succession of increasingly senior positions that culminated in his leadership of the international casualty division. He also spent two years at Marsh, following its merger with Sedgwick.

“Charlie shares our vision and we are delighted that a professional of his stature is joining us to help implement our bold growth strategy,” said Integro CEO Roger Egan. “His addition to our team underscores our commitment to expand the breadth and depth of our offerings throughout the UK and Europe.”
