Online SME comparative quote facility iprism has signed its second broker network 1 Answer Network just two weeks after announcing its first network tie-up with UKGI.
Iprism said it is currently in discussion with other potential network partners and further announcements are expected in the New Year.
Currently 1 Answer has over 20 members but this will rise to 25 by the end of the year. The deal will see 1 Answer Network diversify into commercial insurance in addition to its traditional personal lines offering.
Iprism CEO Gary Burke said: “This latest deal shows iprism is now really gathering momentum and 1 Answer is a welcome addition boasting great potential.
“Networks are very topical at present as a means for smaller brokers to retain their independence. This fits perfectly with iprism which provides access to markets for smaller brokers and that is also a big part of the answer to the question of how smaller brokers can continue independently.”
Managing director of 1 Answer Network Paul Muir said: “We’re delighted to confirm this new partnership with iprism which adds to our already strong offering to members. We see this as another real benefit for brokers looking to compete in various markets and on a level playing field.
“We have seen significant growth of our company to well over 20 members this year and our overall membership GWP is now in excess of £50 million. We plan to double our membership in 2008 and have many great new offerings throughout next year.
