Classical violinist Vanessa Mae says Allianz Cornhill's competition for the best music teachers of the year is not for the highly strung.
"Many music teachers display a staggering commitment to their vocation, so I am sure it will be impossible to pick just two winners for the Music Teacher of the Year award," said Mae.
The competition is being run by Allianz's specialist musical instrument insurer British Reserve Insurance and radio station Classic FM. Closing date for entries is June 9.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
