The International Underwriting Agency (IUA) is to hold a half-day seminar on digital risk and corporate governance.
Paul Skinner, chairman of the agency's digital risk working party, said: "It is clear that information security cannot be regarded purely as a technical issue to be left to an IT department alone. Any successful digital risk management strategy will require full cooperation between technical and business managers."
"Digital risk management is a strategic board level issue that requires solutions to be effectively implemented throughout a company. By hosting this seminar we hope to help demystify the issue and generate debate about how the London insurance market is responding to it."
The event will be held on 10 November at the London Underwriting Centre.
