JLT names new MD of global risks division

Jardine Lloyd Thompson has named Ron Hayes as managing director of the global risk solutions division of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Ltd, the group's specialist London market broker.

Hayes was until recently head of European retail placement at Marsh, responsible for implementing placement strategy and reviewing overall market trading relationships for all European retail business. He has worked for major global insurance brokers for almost 25 years and has a broad experience in designing insurance and alternative risk financing programmes for major UK and international corporations.
