Broker JLT raids rival to boost financial risks division

Jardine Lloyd Thompson is adding Aon's Mark Wood, Sarah Hughes and Adam Codrington to its its financial risks division.

Wood was chairman of Aon's financial services group and Hughes and Codrington were executive directors of the division.

JLT said they would join the company one their contractual restrictions come to an end.

Warren Downey, divisional managing director of JLT Financial Risks said: "We are delighted to welcome Mark, Sarah and Adam to our growing financial risks division.

"These appointments will reinforce our market leading position and are important steps in fulfilling our stated ambition of continuing to add further depth and specialist strengths to our financial risks business".

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
