Insurance Times has teamed up with Workthing.com and Euclidian to conduct an industry-wide salary survey.

It is the first comprehensive online review of pay in the general insurance market, and the information will set a benchmark for salary levels across the industry.

All completed surveys will be entered into a prize draw, with thousands of pounds worth of Sony equipment to win including a mini hi-fi system, DVD players and mini-disc and internet Walkmans.

The survey is now running online at insurancetimes.co.uk, and at the time of going to press 1,000 completed surveys had already been submitted.

Publisher Sarah Tunstall said: “We hope to discover not only the pay differentials between job titles and regions, but also to assess levels of satisfaction with employers and the industry ingeneral.

“The collective online audience is enormous, with the combined number of page impressions for Insurance Times online and Workthing.com hitting three million in an average month,” she said.

The survey will run online until March 25. The information submitted will be treated in the strictest confidence. Prizes will be drawn in the week following the closing date and Insurance Times will notify winners within ten working days.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
