Former Argo chief operating officer joins Lloyd's insurer
Lloyd’s insurer Jubilee Managing Agency has hired Paul Battagliola as its new head of operations.
Battagliola's brief is to direct and execute Jubilee's strategy, set to be revealed soon, as well as managing Jubilee's approach to Solvency II.
He has spent most of his career in the London insurance market, recently spending more than three years as chief operating officer at Lloyd’s managing agency Argo International.
He was also formerly chief financial officer of Aon Reinsurance
Battagliola will report to Jubilee chief executive Andreas Loucaides.
“With our recent reorganisation complete and our future strategy in the final stages of development, we’re delighted to welcome Paul to Jubilee,” said Loucaides.
“He brings to us a unique range of skills and a proven track record in the Lloyd’s and London markets that will enable him to play a key leadership role as we move forward."
