New office to advise on claims management and non-contentious issues
Kennedys have opened a Miami office to advise clients in the management of insurance claims and non-contentious issues arising in Latin America and the Caribbean, with effect from 1 October.
Kennedys' new office, which will not be advising on US law, is located in Miami due to the city's links to Latin American and Carribbean underwriting and claims.
Nick Thomas, senior partner at Kennedys, said: "It is now time to start supporting clients from inside this region. It’s exciting to offer clients a unique combination – the excellent local and procedural knowledge of our network of Latin American and Caribbean correspondents and the outstanding skills and experience available in Kennedys’ London and other offices."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
