Legal & General’s general insurance business has appointed Mark Holweger as its new broker & intermediary director.
Holweger co-founded online broker Coverwise and has previously held senior sales roles at Aviva, Axa and RSA.
Currently, around 80% of Legal & General’s general insurance new business is placed through broker and intermediary partners.
Holweger will head a 33-strong regional sales and marketing team.
