Legal & General are supporting the Association of British Insurers' campaign on escape of water claims.
“As the ABI figures highlight, escape of water claims at over £2 million per day are costly to customers and insurers alike," said Legal & General director for pricing and underwriting Malcolm Cooper.
"We are in support of the ABI’s campaign to highlight this issue."
Cooper advised home owners to check their heating systems, pipes and seals around their bath and shower.
