The London P&I Club achieved its premium income target during the renewal talks which concluded on 20 February.
It now has a fleet entry of more than 30 million gross tons.
Many existing members - including the Schuldt Group, Cosco Hong Kong and V Ships - registered additional vessels with the club, and a major new entry was 14 bulk carriers operated by Petros Pappas' Sentinel Marine Services.
Despite achieving its targets, the Club recently warned that as the financial climate will remain uncertain for the foreseeable future "investment returns are unlikely to reach anything like the buoyant levels that have been achieved in recent years".
